Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC)
The Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) is a world-class venue purpose-built to host heavy industry exhibitions and large-scale international events. Featuring over one million square feet of flexible exhibition space with triple-volume halls, MITEC is the largest exhibition centre in Malaysia and can accommodate up to 47,700 visitors in theatre-style seating or 28,300 guests in banquet configuration at any one time.
Strategically located within the Jalan Duta Government Complex in Kuala Lumpur, MITEC is surrounded by key national landmarks including the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) Headquarters, MATRADE Tower, the Federal Territory Mosque, the Kuala Lumpur High Court and the Istana Negara. As the flagship development of KL Metropolis, MITEC anchors a 75.5-acre integrated “city within a city” where business, commerce, living and connectivity converge. The development includes premium offices, residences, hotels, retail offerings and urban green spaces and is set to become one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic destinations, with enhanced accessibility via the upcoming MRT Circle Line 3.
How to Get There ?
By Car
The most convenient way to get to MITEC is by car. If you’re driving, major highways such as the Duta–Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE), Sungai Besi–Ulu Klang Elevated Expressway (SUKE), New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and Sprint Expressway provide smooth and direct access to the venue. For parking, visitors can park on-site at MITEC for immediate access to the exhibition halls or utilise nearby parking facilities within the KL Metropolis development, all within a short walking distance to the convention centre.
By Foot
If you’re staying within the KL Metropolis precinct or nearby areas, you can reach MITEC on foot. The venue is directly connected to the MATRADE Exhibition & Convention Centre and is easily accessible via covered pedestrian walkways within KL Metropolis. Several nearby hotels and office towers are within a short walking distance, making it convenient for visitors attending events at MITEC without the need for transport.
